However, This year’s Champions League final will be the first derby between two teams from the same city in a European competition final..Madrid.
Wednesday night Chelsea was broken with a 3-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid at
Stamford Bridge, with
Diego Simeone ‘s side setting up a mouth-watering
final against city rivals Real Madrid in Lisbon on May 24.
Atletico Madrid came from a goal down to reach their first
final in Europe’s premier club competition for 40 years and keep alive their hopes of a Champions League and La Liga double.
The first leg of the semi-final tie last week ended goalless, the second leg begins with  former Atletico Madrid captain Fernando Torres put Chelsea in front and was emotional as his team-mates celebrated against his boyhood club,

FASHION EXPERTS BADMOUTH VERA WANG THE DESIGNER WHO DRESS TIWA SAVAGE FOR HER WEDDING IN DUBAI

image

According to light news, fashion experts have come out to lambast Tiwa Savage’s wedding dress and especially the designer who dressed her for the wedding in Dubai. She must have spent a fortune, wasted days and hours for fitting and amendments, but the expert jury who access the wedding dress has given velvety voiced Savage a hard knock! For the untrained eye the dress looks sensational,
and that includes this reporter who described it as
amazingly beautiful, but the Vera Wang dress according to our team did not do justice to her size or her shape!
We are told that the ball, strapless gown could
have been perfect if Tiwa Savage was a fuller figure woman but for her shape it was off the mark. In fact, one of the experts said that except
she had become pregnant over night; it was not
appropriate. “The gown looked over-sized at first
glance and that is not a good sign at all”.
“Tiwa is svelte, with an hour-glass shape to die for, did you notice that with the dress? If you didn’t then that dress did not pass the first test of fitting. Maybe the gown minus the frills would have worked better” one of our experts noted.

REAL MADRID HUMBLE BAYERN MUNICHE TO GET TO THEIR FINAL SINCE 2002

image

Real Madrid hammered Bayern Muniche to get to their 10th European Cup success Not since the days of Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo,
Roberto Carlos and Raul have Real Madrid been in
a Champions League final, but they will finally get a dig at La Decima in Lisbon next month after a scintillating first-half performance blasted Bayern Munich out of sight Tuesday night.
The second leg of their semi-final clash at Allianz Arena was poised to be a tight affair, but Madrid had very different ideas. The 4-0 win which
rounded off a 5-0 aggregate triumph was completely and utterly deserved, and served as a warning that this is a side primed for the grandest
of successes come May 24.
All of the pre-match talk suggested that the
Blancos only needed one goal to make it mission
impossible for Bayern. They got it in the 16th minute, when Luka Modric’s right-wing corner washeaded precisely home by the unmarked Sergio
Ramos.

image

The centre-back killed the tie with a second just four minutes later from an Angel Di Maria free kick with Bayern’s defence again going missing, and barely half an hour had passed by the time
Cristiano Ronaldo took Gareth Bale’s pass and
fired home to cap a magnificent counterattack
which summed up a wonderful first half for the
Spanish side.

image

Ronaldo’s low free kick finished the job in the 90th
minute just to rub salt into the wounds but, if anything, Madrid could have had many more. They completely outplayed Bayern in every department.
The Bavarians’ players had been busy patting each
other on the back for dominating possession in the
first leg at the Bernabeu last week when they should have been wondering why on earth they didn’t put more effort into snatching at least one
away goal.

Cristiano Ronaldo however broke Lionel Messi’s goals
record for a single Champions League season following the double he scored in last night second-leg which also took him 16.
Ronaldo has now netted one more than Messi’s
previous record, with the Argentine registering 14
times in 11 games during the 2011-12 tournament.
Remarkably, the Rinaldo has bettered the Messi’s tally in just 10 outings this term, having missed the group game at home to Galatasaray.
No player has ever scored at such a rate in Europe’s premier club cup competition.
Messi’s average during his record-breaking
2011-12 season was a goal every 70.71 minutes.
